Instructors
Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido has been offered at Reed since 1996. All instructors are volunteers, donating their time to teach Aikido and Ki Principles.
Erik Gorka
Erik Gorka has been practicing Aikido for over 25 years and teaching for more than 18 years. An instructor with the Oregon Ki Society, he holds the rank of 5th Dan in Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, the rank of Chuden in Shinshin Toitsu Do, and is an Assistant Lecturer in the Ki Society International.
In addition to teaching Aikido, Erik is also an alumnus of Reed and works full time as the college's Webmaster as part of their Web Support Services department.
Dan Peterson
Dan Peterson has been teaching Aikido for over ten years. He holds the rank of 2nd Dan in Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, the rank of Shoden in Shinshin Toitsu Do, and is an Associate Lecturer in the Ki Society International.
