Instructors
Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido has been offered at Reed since 1996. All instructors are volunteers, donating their time to teach Aikido and Ki Principles.
Erik Gorka
Erik has has taught Aikido at Reed since 1996. He currently hold the Aikido rank of Nidan (second degree blackbelt), the Ki rank of Chuden (second senior level Ki Training rank), and is an Assistant Lecturer in the Ki Society.
In addition to teaching Aikido, Erik is also an alumnus of Reed and works full time as the college's webmaster as part of their Web Support Services department.
Karl Starkweather
Karl holds the Aikido rank of Shodan (first degree blackbelt) and the Ki rank of Jokyu (third junior level Ki Training rank).
