This installation is part of the web cam series with paintings of photographic images. A small LCD display is installed on the wall that is connected to a switch with multiple input feeds. One feed comes from a web cam (located in Philadelphia) that the painting is based on. The second feed comes from a web cam in the gallery pointing directly at the painting that depicts the image from the web cam in Philadelphia. The video on the LCD display switches back and forth between the two feeds. When a viewer stands in front of the painting, the viewer punctures the picture by inserting an image of himself/herself thereby disrupting the fluidity that seemed to exist between various levels of representation.
