Magistrate title: Ninth hell - King Du Shi
Couplets to either side of magistrate:
All the myriad things can't be analyzed through human calculations;
One's whole life is dictated by fate.
Note that a theory of karma in which current circumstances are dictated by past lives presents the danger of fatalism, but Voyages to hell, Chapter 9 insists that it's really a "70% past lives / 30% this life" split when it comes to destiny.
