Rockfish Resources

I started working on rockfish in the hopes of following Agustus' Krogh's principle that for any experiment there is an ideal oganism for it's investigation. Rockfish seem like a great model system for a visual ecologist because they fill almost every visual environment short of crawling out of the water, they have a ton of great behaviors, and there's over 60 species. Darwin's finches of the Briny Deep! The more I work on them, though, the more I think they're just really cool. Model system aside, these are great fish. Here I have amassed a collection of resources I've found helpful, interesting or amusing to rockfish-o-philes.
The Love Lab This is really the place to start. I can't say how much time I've spent looking here and thinking, "Yeah! Preach it, brother." Well, I probably could, but I won't because my committee could be reading this. Be sure to read Never Eat Anything Older Than Your Grandmother and Of Rockfish and Commies.
