  • If you have one, bring 35mm film and digital camera and instruction manuals to next class. Make sure you get batteries if they are out. (If not, we will lend you cameras)
  • If you do not have instruction manual for your camera (or if you buy used cameras), find one online -- for example here [Free Instruction/User/Owners Manuals].

  • Start Technical exercise 1: Take a photograph on a roll of ISO 400 film of the same scene with different exposures. Two different outdoor scenes during the day with -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 stop exposure (14 frames total). Two indoor scene with well lit object -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 exposure (14 frames total). You can change exposure using either aperture or shutter speed.
  • Make appointment with Paul McAllister to get help and diagnosis with film loading as necessary
