Photographs of People, Portraits, as Art (5+3 prints)

At least 5 darkroom prints to share with the class. I ask that you print and hand in 3 additional photographs that you considered to be part of the work. Show n prints (where n>=5), but hand in n+3 prints.

Consider the artists and photographs you've seen in class and in the readings, specifically Chapter 5 "Intimate Life" and Chapter 2 "Once Upon a Time" of Cotton's book Photograph as Contemporary Art.

Be prepared to provide an explanation of how you think your photographs work. (eg. Why and how are these good photographs in your view?). I ask that you aspire for art that work outside of the Reed context. (That is, no insider jokes only a Reedie would understand).
