| Goal: | Partner with ACS-CINF and ACRL-STS to develop maintain, and review information literacy compentencies for chemistry undergraduates. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Background: | SLA Chemistry Division brings together librarians/information professionals focused on developing and delivering superior chemical information resources to their communities. Chemistry majors are employed by the companies or pursue graduate studies in the academic institutions in which we work. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Strategies: |
•Identify key individuals in CINF and ACRL-STS to begin a dialogue
•Gather existing proposed competencies and review •Publicize on SLA Chemistry Division website •Share findings with Web Committee to assist in development of a stand-alone webpage |
