About Computer Science at Reed College

The Mathematics Department at Reed College offers a Concentration in Computer Science for students that are interested in pursuing computer science with a rigorous foundations in mathematical aspect of the field, and also those that are interested in data science and machine learning. Students also pursue interdisciplinary programs in CS-Physics, CS-Biology, CS-Philosophy, and CS-Art, and used computer science as their affiliated field as part of their majors in Linguistics and in Psychology. A Major in Computer Science will be established in 2017. CS students that plan to graduate in the Spring of 2020 will be the program's first graduates!
