Custard is now more than three times as long as he was in the last pictures. He can't even perch in the same place on the branch any more. In fact one night I heard a scrabble, scrabble noise and then a thud. He had fallen from that branch trying to get closer to the heat lamp.
In the picure on the right you can see that his beard is beginning to show.
He is getting much better about eating vegetables even though he still loves his crickets (bigger and bigger ones). His favorite vegetable is carrots. He will shove everything else aside with his nose to get to them. His new favorite food (other than crickets) is blueberries! He will eat from my hand (I hold food on the ends of my fingers.) However if he smells it and decides he doesn't want it, he turns his head and starts chewing on the end of a finger near the food. He hasn't broken the skin but those little teeth are sharp!
