Abstract:
In this talk, I will describe a series of projects underway at University
of Washington that
are investigating how computer science can help address health challenges
facing the world's poorest
people. Examples of projects will be presented that use mobile devices to
assist health care workers, use cell
phones for the remote monitoring of medical equipment, and use digital
video for health education.
