Discrete Wavelet Transform

Abstract:
This will be a mostly non-technical talk, in which I will describe the
ongoing Mount St. Helens eruption with a bit of geological
background. After a brief discussion of the the seismic record, I
will present statistical problems relating to classification of events
in the seismic record, and discuss the work in progress of trying to
relate the seismic record to the dynamics of the eruption.
