Visiting Assistant Professor
Department of Physics
I am a visiting professor in the Department of Physics at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. My research focuses on using the tools of dynamical systems theory to understand complex behavior in spatially-extended nonlinear systems. Recently, my work has focused on experimental tests of newly proposed theories explaining the phenomenology of transitional turbulence using ideas from nonlinear dynamics.
